Scout Mission
The mission of the Boy Scouts of America is to prepare young people to make ethical and moral choices over their lifetimes by instilling in them the values of the Scout Oath and Scout Law.

May 19-21 2017 – Join up to 10,000 fellow scouts at the State Police Camporee. This event is only held every 3 years. This year’s theme is Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) and also Cybersecurity. There will be some fantastic activities and exhibits revolving around the theme. Click for the registration form and be sure to fill out all info including T-Shirt size (adult sizes). There is also a contest that focuses on STEM/Cyber projects that we can participate in. The rules are attached. Get together with your scouting friends from T-194 and create a winning project that we can show off at the Camporee.
The 3rd Annual Troop 194 Fish Fry is approaching! This is our major fundraiser for the year and it is vital that everyone fully participate. Tickets and information have been distributed and are due back by March 17th. Also, a SignUpGenius email has been sent out; click here to Sign Up. ALL Scouts are expected to sign up for a work shift during the event.
June 16-18, 2017: Join Troop 194 for a bike ride through the Lehigh River Gorge in Jim Thorpe, PA. We will begin with a train ride up along the Lehigh River Gorge (with our bikes on the train), then pedal our bikes back down to Jim Thorpe along the Lehigh Gorge Rail-Trail. The Rail-Trail is a gentle downhill, scenic, state park maintained path that follows the Lehigh River. We will be camping from Friday night to Sunday morning at Hickory Run State Park, group site J. Scouts are encouraged to bring their own bike & helmet. If you don’t have one, you can rent a bike & helmet for an additional cost as listed in the flyer.
