We will be going to the Mount Allamuchy Scout Reservation in Stanhope, NJ for Troop 194’s famous “Cast Iron Chef” cooking competition. Scouts will work in different patrols to cook meals using the ingredients that they are given. The scouts will not know what those ingredients are ahead of time, but must use each ingredient in some way to cook an appetizer, a main course and a dessert. Make sure to brush up on your Scout Skills as we will play a Scout Jeopardy game to win trips to the “special food pantry” for unique ingredients. The attending adults will sample and judge the results. We will be cooking outside, but will stay in a heated cabin. Registration Deadline is Friday, 2/16. Contact Mr. Chittenden with any questions.  Click Here to download the form.

Scouting for Food is Saturday, February 10^th . Scouts will collect food at local stores and then bring it to the Flemington Food Pantry. Scouts will be ask to volunteer for a 2 hour time slot. Look for details and a sign-up form shortly.
